Acceptance and eligibility
URS operates the Ultimate Roleplay System through rp.ursrp.com. By creating an account, signing in, subscribing, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any supplemental billing, safety, moderation, or feature-specific rules URS presents in the relevant checkout, settings, or product flow.
URS is an adult-only service. You must be at least 18 years old to use it. If URS discovers that an account was created or used by someone under 18, URS may suspend or remove that account and related content. False age, identity, or billing information may also result in suspension, removal, or loss of paid access.
Accounts and account security
Your URS account is personal and non-transferable. You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials and connected sign-in methods secure, promptly report suspected compromise, and use the service only through authorized access methods.
- Verified email and adult-confirmation are required before full access is granted.
- URS may require password reset, session revocation, additional verification, or MFA when security, fraud, or policy reasons require it.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account, connected sign-in methods, and active sessions.
- Display names are presentation-only and never replace account identity or platform records.
Plans, billing, and subscriptions
Some URS features require paid-plan access. Billing and subscription processing may be handled through URS and Stripe. Paid-plan access is a limited service entitlement, not a property right, and project owner access or paid-plan-gated features may change after cancellation, failed payment, fraud review, chargeback, refund handling, or administrative correction.
- Recurring subscriptions renew automatically until canceled unless the checkout flow or billing tools state otherwise.
- Pricing, taxes, billing cadence, and included features are presented at checkout or in the billing tools URS provides.
- You can manage or cancel subscription billing through the URS billing route or the Stripe customer tools URS makes available.
- Canceling stops future renewal, but already-started billing periods generally remain active through the end of the paid term unless law or the active checkout terms require otherwise.
- Except where required by law or expressly promised at checkout, URS does not promise refunds, credits, or prorated reimbursements for partial periods, unused time, moderation action, paused accounts, or feature changes.
- Chargebacks, reversals, fraudulent payment activity, refunds, or failed renewals may immediately suspend paid-plan access, owner entitlements, or other paid features until the account is back in good standing.
User content, licenses, and project authority
URS hosts user-submitted characters, projects, factions, room content, inbox messages, and media as part of the service. You remain responsible for the content you submit and for making sure you have the right to submit it.
- You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content and that the content and your use of it comply with law, these Terms, and any applicable project rules.
- You keep ownership of the content you create, but you grant URS a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, reformat, cache, back up, moderate, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate, secure, improve, and comply with obligations related to the service.
- Project owners, managers, faction leaders, and room moderators may manage project-scoped participation and content when the platform grants them those permissions.
- Deleted or removed content, and the limited rights needed to retain or process it, may survive account closure in audit, moderation, billing, backup, security, dispute, or legal records where operationally required.
Books: ownership, audiences, and publication
You keep ownership of your Books. For Books, the content license above is limited to the operational rights needed to store, secure, moderate, back up, and display your writing to your selected audience.
- Books are solo-owned. Hobby and Pro members earn the same permanent Studio access; the number of Books is unlimited. Each Book permits 250 chapters, with a finishing allowance from 3,000,000 through 3,010,000 normalized body characters. Chapter size and formatting limits also apply.
- You choose private, unlisted link, or signed-in member access. Member-library Books are not open-web publications. Author-profile listing is optional. Unlisted links can be forwarded; anyone with a valid link who confirms adult eligibility may read it.
- Every new publication is an immutable release. You must confirm your rights, confirm that every sexualized character is explicitly at least 18, and review the content warnings, including an explicit none-apply choice. Earlier releases do not imply that these attestations were made.
- Lawful explicit and dark adult fiction is allowed within these rules. Adult age-play and aged-up fictional characters are not categorically prohibited when the text states that they are adults, but may prompt review. Nonsexual minors may appear in ordinary family stories, news, research, prevention, recovery, and other nonsexual contexts. The separate character/profile rules continue to apply.
- Illegal content, nonconsensual sexualization of identifiable real people, intimate impersonation, doxxing, and targeted defamatory claims are prohibited. You must mark a Book cover as mature when needed. It can appear without routine staff approval, but automated checks, reports, or staff action may quarantine or remove it. Pornographic or nude imagery remains prohibited.
- Discourage copying is a reader-interface preference. It cannot prevent screenshots, manual copying, or other capture and does not promise digital rights management.
Books: moderation and recovery
These controls apply to every Book audience. Lifecycle and safety restrictions take precedence over sharing settings.
- Publication screening covers the complete overview and first chapter. Later chapters are screened when reported. Screening and reports help staff triage content; they are not determinations that content is unlawful. Review is best effort, without a guaranteed completion time.
- Eleven distinct eligible accounts reporting a release within 24 hours for minor safety, sexual exploitation, abuse or harassment, or hateful content can suspend that release. High-confidence signals and authorized staff actions may suspend it immediately. Other report categories enter staff review without counting toward that threshold.
- Staff may restore a release, remove it with a prior clear release as fallback, remove it without fallback and make the Book private, or resolve reports without changing visibility. Authors receive the category and outcome. Reporter identities and private evidence remain restricted. Ordinary support may correct mistakes; there is no formal appeal entitlement.
- Archiving immediately makes a Book private and suspends reader access and share links. Restoring produces a private draft. Making a Book private suspends existing links; explicitly returning to unlisted sharing can reactivate links that are still unexpired and unrevoked.
- A Book deletion request immediately suspends reader access and begins a 30-day recovery period. Cancellation before the deadline returns the Book to archived state. After the deadline, content is removed through staged cleanup, subject to restricted moderation retention and formal preservation requirements. Export remains available during recovery.
- Copyright and other content complaints may be sent to administrative@ursrp.com or the Trust reporting tools. URS handles them as staff reports and does not offer a separate statutory notice/counter-notice process.
Acceptable use and community rules
Adult-only access does not permit illegal, exploitative, fraudulent, hateful, or abusive use of the platform. You may not use URS to violate law, evade enforcement, or interfere with the service or other users.
Lawful adult writing is allowed under URS adult-only access, but character profiles, public media, Partner promotions, and discovery surfaces must stay within the platform content rules.
- Do not upload illegal content, pornographic or nude imagery, sexual or exploitative material involving minors, coercive or abusive content, malware, impersonation, harassment, spam, or content that infringes another party's rights.
- You must mark an uploaded image as mature when it contains mature material. Images may appear from your choice without routine staff approval, but URS may use automated checks, reports, and staff review to quarantine or remove prohibited or incorrectly labeled images.
- Do not create, publish, or promote under-18 or minor-coded characters in character/profile contexts.
- Do not use URS character, public media, Partner, discovery, or share surfaces to advertise sexual services, paid adult content solicitation, escorting, or similar commercial sexual promotion.
- Do not interfere with service integrity, security controls, rate limits, audit workflows, or project scope boundaries.
- Project-specific rules may be stricter than the platform baseline and remain binding inside that project.
- You must also follow supplemental URS billing, safety, moderation, and feature-specific rules presented in the relevant flow.
Moderation, suspension, and termination
URS may review, limit, remove, preserve, or disclose content and may warn, suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts, projects, rooms, or subscriptions when policy, safety, billing, abuse, legal, or security needs require it.
- Violations of the no-pornographic/nude imagery, no illegal content, no under-18 character, or no sexual-service advertising rules may remove access to Public Discovery and may escalate to account restrictions or termination for serious or repeated abuse.
- URS may keep evidence, moderation notes, audit records, and related metadata when responding to reports, appeals, legal requests, fraud, or operational incidents.
- Project-level moderation tools do not limit URS platform authority. URS staff may still intervene when needed.
- Suspension, cancellation, or termination may remove access to projects, rooms, paid notifications, creator-presence tools, media, and other account features without preserving previous entitlement state.
- Suspension or termination does not guarantee deletion of all retained records and does not relieve outstanding payment or legal obligations.
- Terms that by their nature survive closure remain in effect after termination, including payment obligations, rights needed to retain operational records, moderation evidence, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms.
Copyright and intellectual property notices
If you believe content on URS infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, send a notice to administrative@ursrp.com with enough detail for URS to review the claim and identify the material.
- Identify the copyrighted or trademarked work you believe is affected and the specific URS material, URL, or project location you want URS to review.
- Include your name, contact information, the basis for your claim of authority, and a good-faith explanation of why the material should be removed or restricted.
- URS may request more information, remove or restrict access to challenged material, forward the complaint to the uploader, or accept a counter-notice where law permits.
- False, abusive, or misleading notices may be rejected, and repeated infringement or repeated abusive reporting may lead to account or project enforcement.
Availability, disclaimers, and liability
URS is provided on an as-available and as-is basis. Features may change, pause, or be removed as the service evolves. URS does not promise uninterrupted uptime, permanent availability, or a particular feature set.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, URS disclaims warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms.
- URS does not guarantee uninterrupted uptime, permanent storage, discovery placement, or ongoing access to a particular project, room, notification lane, or paid feature.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, URS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
- Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Changes, disputes, and contact
URS may update these Terms as the service changes. Material updates will be published at this URL. Continued use after an updated effective date means you accept the revised Terms. If you have a policy, billing, or legal concern, contact administrative@ursrp.com first so URS can try to resolve the issue informally.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, either side may seek relief through a court of competent jurisdiction unless applicable law requires a different process.
