Start with a space
Create private rooms, organize scenes, invite trusted writers, and manage roleplay activity from a structured workspace.
Quick answers about adult-only accounts, discovery, character visibility, scenes, and project access.
In the roleplay space, writers need clear boundaries between account identity, characters, scenes, and project-owned worlds.
URSRP gives members a Trust Center for personal controls while keeping project owner, manager, faction-leader, room, and site-admin authority distinct.
URSRP supports one-on-one RP, group scenes, and both public and private writing spaces. Discovery helps writers post characters and find roleplay without needing to start inside a narrower project.
URS keeps trust decisions scoped and visible.
At URSRP, you can create Characters, Projects, Factions within Projects, one-on-one rooms, and group rooms. These can be public or private depending on your settings.
We also have a friend system, inbox system, discovery tools, and a lot more.
URSRP is designed primarily for long-format paragraph roleplay, sometimes called ParaRP.
No. All characters at URSRP are private by default.
Characters only appear on Public Discovery after additional settings are enabled by the user.
It's complicated.
There are a lot of factors that go into each filter we use for the discovery system. The system does not prioritize one specific thing unless the filter itself is specific.
For the Featured page, characters are selected by an automated system based on 24 different checks and flags that work together to identify high-effort characters.
This system is still being refined, so sometimes a lower-quality character might appear on this page.
URSRP supports up to 3 accounts per user.
This is because we acknowledge that many writers prefer to have a few options for exploring different genres without feeling too much peer pressure from known association.
It also allows writers to have three times the normal limits if all they want to do is write and they somehow hit those limits, which are already very large.
URSRP is adult-only, but it is not a porn website and it is not for pornographic imagery.
No minors, minor-coded characters, chatbots, or automated companion accounts are allowed. URS is for human-to-human writing.
Users must adhere to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, both of which are located at the bottom of every page.
URS gives writers one hub for long-term characters, private scenes, public discovery, and project-owned worlds without collapsing identity and trust into a single profile.
URS is an adult-only service. Email verification and moderated access stay part of the current public flow.
Whether you run a private writing circle or a larger project-owned world, URS keeps scenes, characters, and trust boundaries easier to organize.
Create private rooms, organize scenes, invite trusted writers, and manage roleplay activity from a structured workspace.
Use URSRP for character development, long-form writing, scene planning, and ongoing collaborative stories.
Project-owned worlds can use permissions, public scenes, scoped trust tools, health tracking, and turn settings to keep scenes organized.
Writers, project owners, managers, and faction leaders use distinct controls for blocking, reporting, permissions, room governance, and friendship settings.
URSRP is still in active testing as we evaluate service costs, platform usage, and long-term sustainability. Limits may change as sign-ups continue and the platform develops.
That said, our goal is to maintain a Free Forever option that allows users to create, manage, and preserve their roleplay scenes without losing access to the core experience.
URSRP provides the platform, but it is not a roleplay community itself. We do not run individual scenes, projects, or character relationships for members.
Instead, writers and project owners use scoped trust tools for blocking, reporting, permission management, room governance, and friendship controls.
